As a graphics and design professional I’ve come across a variety of techniques over the years. Some of them in are specific to a given application (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Indesign, etc.) and others are more general. Although the techniques here are by no means ground-breaking, I do hope they are represented in a way that helps people learn something new.
